Early Expression Sessions
Newborn photos don't have to happen in the earliest, most overwhelming days. Early Expressions Sessions are designed for babies 5–10 weeks old — when your baby is more expressive, and you finally have room to breathe.

I am the only photographer on Vancouver Island who specializes in Older Newborn "Early Expressions" Sessions — with an extensive portfolio built entirely around this beautiful, often-missed window. As a mom of three with countless hours of photographing babies, I look forward to being your supporter while capturing your family’s story.

Ideally during your second or early third trimester, so you have a spot reserved. Once baby arrives, we'll confirm the session date together.

Most photographers photograph babies at 7–14 days. I specialise in older newborns — 5–10 weeks — when babies are more alert, expressive, and interactive. You'll also be more rested and ready to connect.

No problem. I hold a spot on my calendar for you, and when baby arrives, we set the date. The older newborn window gives us much more flexibility.

Yes — siblings are always encouraged. I keep it simple, calm, and quick so it feels fun and doable for everyone

Absolutely. We'll capture a mix of baby alone and family connection images. (Fair warning: the ones together are usually your favourites.)

You don't need to feel perfect. I'll guide you into flattering positions and keep everything natural. Most moms leave saying "That was so much easier than I expected."
Baby's health always comes first. If anyone in your family is unwell, we'll reschedule — no stress, no fees.
